I'm not sure if this is appropriate to post here but I found this really interesting, some pictures are of graphic surgery being done on parrots just wanting to warn you before you look..


It is examples of a few cases seen in an avian vet hospital.

I was looking at the surgery pics thinking how in the world can they do surgery on such small creatures! And the guy was using itty bitty tweezers in one of them lol

I also thought of all the great owners who brought those birds in there to have them saved! Vet care and surgery is NOT CHEAP!
