Wooden Dowel and Wall hanger help

I have no talent when it comes to building things. Like having two left hands!
I am trying to find wall hangers from which I can place a wooden dowel.
It will be used as a perch. But needs to be far enough away from wall so canary can rest comfortably.
Secure enough that the dowel doesn't move around.

I’m not sure exactly which way you want it but I’m guessing if you check out your hardware store options for hanging curtain rods you may find something suitable

And mine enjoy a scarf hanger for perching
