So today I put my bird on my desk while I was working and didn’t think about 2 of my decorations. She wondered off while I had my head turned and she took a small nibble on one of my wood decorations. I quickly scooped her up and gave her some water to take a bath and wash her beak. image.jpg image.jpg
Should I watch her for the next couple of days too make sure she is ok? She nibbled on the one with the burnt wood spot. I don’t know what kinda wood it is... should I get it out of my room or would it be ok to put it on a place she can’t get to? It kinda has a wood smell still from when I bought it half a year ago. Is the smell bad for her? It’s not too strong, I frankly can’t notice it anymore my sister only comments on the smell when she is really close to it.

I personally would be more concerned about her chewing on your fancy puzzle box- they use some sort of varnish on those.
I doubt you’ll have any issues with the tiny amount she chewed but it never hurts to be extra observant when you’re a bit concerned.
