Better safe than sorry. Kady is not a floor bird but we took the dollies out and the cage is sitting an inch off the floor now.

I have to apologize for raining on your parade which wasn't my intention. That cage is a beautiful one and I'd give my eyeteeth for one like that for my fids. When I mentioned the bottom I was thinking of my birds who are miniatures compared to Kady. The largest bird in my flock is a homing pigeon going down to sun conure, Quakers, tiels and gccs. Mine, especially the gccs, would probably be pole-dancing just to show me that they could get out.
