Meeting neighbors
Back in August my 17 year old sun conure Willie got very thin, sick and we almost lost her. We have taken her to several vets, and taken several medical steps along the way such as antibiotics, anti-fungals, anti-parasitics etc.
We also started hand feeding her Exact, then Harrison's Juvenille Formula four times a day starting in October (first alone, then with ground chia seeds), AviX red palm oil, a probiotic, Avigain, etc., etc.
The good news is that she has now grown from a low of 86 grams in mid-November to 104 grams as of today. She really started putting on the weight once we added ground chia to her diet along with the AviX red palm oil.
We know we're still not out of the woods but it's a great improvement.
We're so happy to still have our little girl with us.
