This is an older video but its new to me so I thought I'd share this one too :)

There are a few different videos of Keas and problem solving puzzles. I love this sort of stuff, thanks for sharing :)

I love Popeye!

And after everything I've seen about keas, I'm they're not kept as pets. You'd come home to their cage dismantled and your walls pared down to studs!

I never doubted cockatoos are so smart!!
Also, the entire Kea video used to be on Netflix. I'm not sure if it's still there, but if it is, I definitely recommend watching the entire movie

I'm pretty sure I've posted this video before but it never hurts to revisit such interesting research :) It never ceases to amaze me how smart some animals are. Keas are definitely up there

I love the Kea. They are beautiful, but I have seen a documentary were a car became bumper-less! They managed to get under a picnic table and chew that too, making it too weak to be sat on!

It seems you can get them as pets after all. It recommends them as aviary birds, due to their 'destructive nature'

They certainly can cause trouble! I love this solution to problem!

The Curbside Gyms That Keep Rare New Zealand Parrots Out of Trouble

It amuses me to no end they have wild birdie gyms for the Keas :roflmao: I read about them awhile ago, I loved to have an update. I Really hope they are working to some degree. It hard to imagine they work 100% as I'm sure Keas still find ways to get into trouble. Sidenote - I'd so love be the head manager of wild birdie playgrounds, I wonder what my budget would be?!? ;) :laughing2:
