I'm a bit confused.. but there's a difference, for example males behavior - whistling, singing, hoping, beak banging, whistling.

This may be just an old wives tale, but I've heard that female cockatiels have very round eyes and males have more almond shaped eyes.

If your hen is 1 year or older, you can fan her wings or tail up to the light and see "pearls" on them...they are a very light pale yellow....
If there are NONE on the wings or tail...it is a male...
BEST way is DNA:hug8:
