And here is option #1 comes with a travel cage and new bird bath. (Used only a couple of weeks until the door was mistakenly not latched shut and the 2 cats got to the keet

Let me know what you think @MyAussieFriends when you get a chance.....but my thoughts are that I'm gonna go with option #1. Why? Because it's newer & cleaner. Comes with a travel cage and a.New bath. Last but most importantly ~ the cage was lived in for only 2-3 weeks until an unfortunate accident with the door being left unlocked ked which allowed the cats access leading to the demise of the.sweet little keet which for me means ~ NO worries about diseases! Of course I will thoroughly clean it but I feel safer with option #1!

Option #2 kinda scares me......I would throw out everything that came with it! I have no idea what happened to the previous bird and I would never feel like I got it clean enough so I wouldn't want to chance it!!

So option #1 is the winner! Little Yoshi is already starting to trust me so as we bond more he will also have more out time! Especially.once he is out of quarantine!!

Important thing in a budgie cage is the bar spacing. Should be no larger than 1/4 inches. I would rule out option 2 because it is too low to the ground and looks as if the bar spacing is not suitable for a budgie. Also the cage should be longer than it is tall. I have that cage (option 1). It was used for my tiels. I still have it and use it occasionally as a sleep cage. I think your budgie will enjoy it.
