Don't have a quaker but the 2nd one is smaller but does have a playtop
& if the bird can be out a lot its a lot of cage for the money. Not sure of the 3/4 bar spacing though you have to check if that's too big for a quaker as I'm not that sure of there size.

I'd personally go for the first. 3/4 is a little big for a Quaker to me.
Also, investing in a movable floor play stand or even a table top would be better IMO then getting a smaller cage just for the playtop.
I have two of the first, and they are great cages. Lots of space, and good quality.
Hope it works out for you. :)

You'd have to call the company and ask what the shipping would be to Ireland.
I'm sure Amazon ships there, but the cost is another story. You could try adding it to your "cart" on the website and see if it'll tell you what the shipping would be.

For sure. Daily paper changes with the sliding out tray is very simple and you can wheel it outside for routine deep cleanings easily since the cage is not too deep.

I wont be wheeling it outside lol Mango is upstairs in my bedroom and he isnt very messy anyway.
Usually, a yearly or bi-yearly deep cleaning is recommended. Diluted bleach and a pressured hose do wonders in terms of keeping everything as clean as possible.

Just a thought, but quakers are known to be particularly protective of their territory. I would avoid the A&E one because it doesn't have feeder doors.

I would go with the second option. It has a playtop, which is a plus. I don't think the bar spacing is too big. Sam has 5/8, and he'd be fine with the next size, which would be 3/4. Plus it has feeder doors, which is a plus, since quakers can be protective of their "space".

I agree about the features but it's still only 24x22 which is too small IMO.
