Where's Prawn?

Can you spot her? She is the female Orange-breasted Waxbill I got as a partner for my boy, Bamboo.

She finally finished quarantine and joined the Finchy flock... but her camouflage abilities is giving me minor heart attacks!

I saw two orange breasted at Petsmart yesterday.

They are super tiny, aren't they? You really have to see them in person to appreciate their petiteness.

We don't get Petsmarts here in Australia. We have large chain pet stores called Pet Barns here. From what I've seen, heard and read, Pet Barns are basically the same as Petsmarts.

I was very surprised to see those two gems there. Maybe some smart finch lover will need something really bad, and pop in and see them. I hope so. I was just there for Heartly's birthday toys.
