And a list of favorite pellets for his favorite cockatoo... You should bet that he'll aim for the "free shipping" option!

I asked for not Amazon since they have a knockoff problem. Gotta say, My Safe Bird Store is the best!

Oh what’s in the little green bucket thingy?
It goes blurry if I try to get a better look at it lol.

Soooo... Serious questions: Anyone have any ideas how to preserve/store 82 lbs (37.2 kilos) of food long enough for a 300 gram bird to eat it all? What is the shelf life on Zupreem?

As cold as you can in a dry and dark place.
Not in the fridge, but the freezer is working. If so open the bag and let it be open for 24 hrs after because of the condense.

I store a lot of food in the freezer, and definitely all pellets after open one bag. I give mine small amounts of pellets and want to serve it as fresh as possible.

Vaccuum Seal if you can doing @Eloy directions. No air will help stabilize the pellets & vitamins they put in the food.

Well I'm in luck! Got a vacuum sealer for Christmas and just cleaned out the freezer!

Lemmy was not so sure about the unboxing process last night... Gotta keep up and away a safe distance from those big scary bags!

Yeah I should've specified maximum amounts... But husband got the best deals!

Here's the little guy checking the bags out:

And then a little later and more relaxed:

If it's a foodsaver, spend the $ & get the mason jar attachments. Best $ I ever spent. Had 2 foodsavers now & didn't invest in the Jar sealer & jars till Buddy. I don't need to freeze any pantry or seed items, nothing hatches because nothing lives w/out oxygen. Wish I'd bought them many, many years ago, pre-Buddy. But as a bird family now, they're a godsend. (Walmart & Target will let you order the Jars by the case, & supplies online & mail). Price is decent & never a 1 broken yet. Been doing this... Close to a year now, I believe...

We're gonna need to eat some ice cream and chicken nuggets to make more room! (There's a drawer that sits above this and takes the rest of the room to the top).
