SQUID is going on 5 MONTHS of age (OMG, is she that old already?!?!) and she still looks like a baby plet. She also hasnt begun to molt out that horrible clip she got before I got her (I got her at 4weeks of age). What age do they begin to look like adults? When do plets start to molt?

Both Bella and Corbit had a major moult within the first year. I'd think Squid is about due on that. As to her looking like a baby, I'm not sure why that would be--the only major change along those lines I know of is eye color. And she should get her adult eye color at about a year of age, if memory serves (someone correct me if I'm wrong on that). Maybe she's just cute :)

Kiwi was hatched last Christmas and he is molting now, badly. He already had his flight feathers in when I got him, but I clipped him a little so I could tame him.

I think p'lets always have a baby look to them. But her eyes might lighten up with time. Maddies were a beautiful pale gold. :)

Kiwi's eyes are a greyish blue/kinda golden. What does that mean?

Their eyes just lighten with time. :) But Harper's eyes are a slate grey and have always been that way. She's almost 3.

Corbit's eyes are much darker than Bella's too, and they are the same age (just over 2). I think the blue mutations have darker eyes.

Both of mine were green, not sure of their age other than "breeding age" As they were proven breeders both had dark "baby" looking eyes

Just like Squids

this is the BEST picture I was ever able to get of them, you can see their eyes some what
