Our conure Jesse went out the door as we opened it for our insurance guy. We called him, and could hear him. So I put Bella in a small travel cage and took her outside. She called to him and he came back. Scary moments!

Did a lot of that for Lurch, climbed two trees, hung out on the roof of the house he was over for two days, but he was too afraid to fly down to me. If I could have reached him he would have climbed onto me. It's all good info and if a bird knows how to fly down and is bonded to you with some good bribes eventually they'll come down when they get hungry or tired.
