Whats your favorite nest?

Just out of curiosity. What is everyone's favorite type of nest box to use? Also what's the weirdest thing your feathered friend has used/try to use as a nest?

I have a lot of nesty finch boys. Platform perches appear to be the favourite, but also branch forks in the natural wood perches, and just perches and general.. they get their 'nesting material' and drop it, and then are confused when the nesting material falls back down
The 'nesting material' is also dropped leaves of greens, usually dandelion or sow thistle, because I have a budgie in the aviary who chews it off at the stem. They sit down there waiting for the budgie to come along and snip it
