No, no, not for me.:D

Do they need lots of space too, like parrots?

Would something that is 32 x 32 good for them?

I do not know anything about their care.

If doves do not belong in this section please remove. Sorry.:o:

TIA.

If it's anything like a pigeon, the biggest cage possible would be ideal. They seem to get cooped up easily, and need to let out some energy flying, usually more than our pet parrots. I think the a&e double flights would make good cages.

They remind me a lot of giant finches. The ones I have seen are very active. :)

My dove has a small cage, but he is not flighted so he actually only goes in there to sleep. I leave him out all the time. He goes in and out at will. He loves to perch and look out the window on this outside perch. He loves to take bathes. They do not play, but I guess if flighted they need room to be able to fly around or you have to let them out to do that.

All birds moult. I would say to get a huge flight cage and give them lots of out of cage time. Not really a fan of clipping their wings as they are not climbers plus they are easily hand trained.
