I am tired of vaccuming everyday. What Roomba should I get for the house and the office?

The house is a 2220 square foot mix of tile, and area rugs in the main part, and carpet in the bedrooms.

The office is just 500 square feet of crappy industrial carpeting but it needs it the most.

My friend has a Doxie and there is no problem with the dog. They are the first pope I know who have one. It seems to be doing the trick and no dog hair around from the long haired dog.

There's attachments? I thought it just zoomed around on it's own. Does it also self-attach the nozzles and clean in corners and cracks with them??? 'Cause that would be nifty!

I'd get one....but I'm afraid the birds will short it out. Both Tango and Petey take very messy cage baths and I just know it'll be aimed towards the expensive machine

That is what I always think, I couldn't sleep myself (or rest for that matter) if this machine was moving about.

Don't the birds care?

No poopy Roombas are not good.

They get used to it....all of them did.

Ginger the new upgraded model I got was the 550 I think...get extra filters and also at least one extra brush. You will need to clean the brushes often if there is dog hair. But regular seed, etc...is not problem with any of mine....oh, I have all hardwood floors and a few low pile rugs...

I love mine!!!!!

So you have a spare or two...makes it easier to change them out when cleaning.

Oh does the one you are looking at have the home base for charging and also the virtual walls? those are nice accessories.

Is the pet one better for picking up bird mess or should I get the regular one?

I think the pet one is more for dogs and cats...mine are not pet versions and still pick up the dog hair.

Well I bought my roomba today from their own site instead of Amazon. They are having a 10% off sale, plus a free brush kit, plus free shipping.

I can't wait to get it to see how it works. If it does a good job in the office, I might spring for one for the house.
