what kind of duck?

hi my daughter just rescued some ducks, what kind of duck is this? some look like typical mallard babies, and the others are not mallards.

Hmmmm.... it's kinda too soon to tell but I would guess they're Mallards ;)

It looks to be either a mallard or muscovy baby. It's kind of hard to tell without getting a better look at the markings around the eyes. Do you have muscovies there?

The species of duck you have right there is called "Fuzzy yellow duckling". :p

I think it's a mallard but I'm not sure, it looks very young.

Definitely not a Mallard duckling, and I'm fairly sure it's not a Muscovy. Mallards have a definitive stripe across the eye, and the Muscovies head band extends down the neck. Yours just looks like a spot on the back.

Can you tell us where you are from? That will probably help with the ID
