I moved my Indian ringnecks cage and the desk it's on and found this dandruffy stuff on the floor and sweeped it up it didn't go in the air and was quite easy to sweep up is this powder down dust or dander. Also when I saw my bird shake himself I saw about 6 to 10 pieces fall off him and land on the floor so just a general question is this powder down or dander.

dander. Powder down is powder-ish so it wouldn't be so coarse. He could be moulting though.

IRN are old worlds but don't produce as much powder down(they still do) as cockatoos greys or cockatiel so with a good air purifier it should be ok.
