Sprinting down the street
I love the tagline or this little piece of the forum- BIG additude is RIGHT!
I've only have my gals for a short time, Kokomo in April and Aruba a few weeks ago. I always thought lovebirds "weren't for me". Kokomo's previous home need a home for her, and I couldn't say no. When I got her she had a different name, but on the way home the Beach Boy's song came on and she went nuts! She loved it! Plus my toddler is adorable calling her Oh-ko-mo. Since she was only semi-tame I knew she would need a birdy pal so I waited until I found the perfect little gal- and that is how I got Aruba.
ANYWAYS I guess what I love most about them aside from the beautiful chatter they bring into our home is how stinkin' CUTE they are. Even when Kokomo is being a mean little POOT she is so CUTE!
I love seeing the girls swing together, preen, and just be lovebirds with each other. They make my soul feel gooey.
Does anyone have a tame lovebird? What is that like?
