What can I use on a squeaky cage door?

The door on JoeJoe's cage squeaks like crazy. I was thinking of spraying it with some of that silicon spray... then wondered if using something edible like olive oil would be safer? Would love some advice please.

I would go with a food grade mineral oil.

I don't think any of the lube spay available is pet safe and sister Sandies restaurant uses food grade mineral oil on the machines they use.
You could always Google pet safe spray lube and see if anything comes up.

Thanks Terry, I have just ordered the food grade mineral oil. I’ll get a dedicated sprayer for it too.
