Tommorow for breakfast they will both get some of these bionic sprouts. 20230525_194154.jpg
Then planning on sorting some skewers out for them.

The Coriander and Parsley will go in with the sprouts.

I'm a new bird mom, and I adopted my 2 month old GCC on Saturday. I don't think the pet store I bought her from fed her fresh veg and grains, so I've been doing a ton of research. Yesterday, I made broccoli/carrot/almond sliver/quinoa chop. I forgot to add basil, but I will next time. ;)

That looks way better than my own breakfast :laughing6:

Today was egg day, so I made him a mini fried quail egg, with some cooked kale and corn on the side. He gets this once every month.

Next week i'll be making him pasta, I found pasta made out of chia seed and water from my local farmer shop. He'll get that with some "sauce" (strawberry pure) on top.
. Just to think that in the wild he'd be flying miles for one seed
Just a question since I am still learning, but when avians are given eggs how are they fried? I don’t think cooking it in butter or oil would be healthy but I’m not sure how else without it sticking to the pan

I'm pretty lazy so I just pop it on a plate and in the microwave. But Coconut oil is safe to use for food,

Boiled or poached egg is usually how I share them as there are no extra fats added that way

Today was frozen mixed veggies, some chop I found in the freezer from the last batch, salad sprouts, Bird Street Bistro Southern Feast, and a bit of Phoenix Foraging Rolls Unpellet mix. Ripley also got a piece of their Green Chunks that he has completely ignored. ;)
