So not really anything to do with science, just marketing. :meh:

Quibble does eat everything else so it's fine I'm a pinch for me. I did try dry and soaked with both birds too.
Marketing for sure. Twice I pressed them on the fact that if the bird did choose to eat the flax it would most likely be swallowed whole because of their size and harness of the shell, therefore proving the bird with little to no nutritional value. They avoided that statement altogether. Everyone knows the power of flax seed but if its power cant be gotten its only purpose is marketing.

And honestly, I have used SO MANY seed mixes and there's ALWAYS something that doesn't get eaten. In 15 years of that, I have never reached out to a company to let them know something wasn't eaten. Heck, I didn't even know offhand if the flax was being eaten or not until I paid careful attention!

Whiskey: mashed carrot, pulverized pellet powder (Zupreem Natural) and a sprinkle of Nutriberry Classic, to hopefully persuade him to sample the contents of his feeding bowl at least once.
He at least ate a bit of the Nutriberry but I hope he'll put his stubbornness aside and eat a bit more of the mash.

Blanchie: a chunk of broccoli and a piece of radish.
He licked the piece of radish, nibbled on the chunk of broccoli and proceeded to make kissy and fart noises at both.
So at least some succes there? :D
