Marketing for sure. Twice I pressed them on the fact that if the bird did choose to eat the flax it would most likely be swallowed whole because of their size and harness of the shell, therefore proving the bird with little to no nutritional value. They avoided that statement altogether. Everyone knows the power of flax seed but if its power cant be gotten its only purpose is marketing.So not really anything to do with science, just marketing.
Quibble does eat everything else so it's fine I'm a pinch for me. I did try dry and soaked with both birds too.
