Saturday breakfast! Today we have peas, green beans, bell pepper, cooked butternut, carrots, parsley, cooked quinoa, a little birdie bread, a little sprinkling of their mixes, and the South American birds have pomegranate seeds and blueberries. Buddy has a few nuts since he's been working on getting better at cracking them. The dry food bowl is Olive's "treat bowl" - since we're still needing to put a little extra effort into keeping her weight up, she gets more nuts and snacky food.



Bonus Olive (eating a walnut) and Fig because she's doing so much better that they're getting harder to tell apart!

Struggling with a picky bird, tried Pomegranates for the first time - she's delighted.

Messy, but so far not really worse than raspberries or worse blueberries.

Yeah... starting to worry, she's been going steadily now about 40 minutes with no signs of slowing down. Apparently it's earning a place high on her list.

Though... being a parrot... next time I offer it, it maybe shunned entirely.

When olive was really sick, there was a period when pomegranate seeds were the only thing she would reliably eat, and they were out of season so we were running around buying stores out of what they had.

It’s this frozen berries frozen sweetcorn (I just put boiling water over top of them in a bowl soak for 5mins) fresh broccoli fresh carrots fresh sugar snap peas and fresh mint leaves
