Zazu would mostly eat it but sometimes she'd shred it just for fun.Not sure how much he was eating and how much he was ripping up and throwing on floor

Aw that's so sweet of you to say. I desperately wish every day that I still had a feathered baby in my life but I unfortunately don't think that will ever happen but I'd love to be wrong.

I think it's all species in general most likely. I don't have issues with short interactions with any species but long term living in it constantly seem to be my downfall now.Absolutely

Maybe it was a build up over time my dads friend bred reptiles for 20+ years then one day became really poorly he was allergic to the mealworms had to give it up and only keep a few of his reptiles
I definitely believe it was,after 17 years my body just unfortunately couldn't take it anymore.

I'd love that I do a lot of pet sitting for dogs and cats but no one has had a bird. But we do sometimes get them boarding at work or for nail trims that I often get to help with so that's something at least. Like this past Saturday I got to hold my favorite B&G Macaw for his nail trim and after wards he climbed on my chest and gave me a hug with his wing and I was able to hug him back and I almost cried because I was just so happy
