Not sure how much he was eating and how much he was ripping up and throwing on floor
Zazu would mostly eat it but sometimes she'd shred it just for fun.

Aw that's so sweet of you to say. I desperately wish every day that I still had a feathered baby in my life but I unfortunately don't think that will ever happen but I'd love to be wrong.

Sure if you got one and it didn’t work @Pixiebeaks would love a third  But I have a funny feeling you would be ok with a green cheek

Made up a mix of Volkman's Birdie Buffet, Avian Organics Mayan Gourmet Mash, and Christine's Chop Shop Soak and Serve Chop; added a few frozen veggies to serve today. Will add more veggies and fresh sprouts to tomorrow's serving!

Absolutely :xflove:
Tho I feel like I have a great balance with to pairs of buddies. But I do have extra cages :D
I would love it , if you were able to have parrots in your life again. Would it have been a specific species reaction? Any GCC you could pet sit and see if a reaction happened ?

I think it's all species in general most likely. I don't have issues with short interactions with any species but long term living in it constantly seem to be my downfall now.

Maybe it was a build up over time my dads friend bred reptiles for 20+ years then one day became really poorly he was allergic to the mealworms had to give it up and only keep a few of his reptiles

I'd love that I do a lot of pet sitting for dogs and cats but no one has had a bird. But we do sometimes get them boarding at work or for nail trims that I often get to help with so that's something at least. Like this past Saturday I got to hold my favorite B&G Macaw for his nail trim and after wards he climbed on my chest and gave me a hug with his wing and I was able to hug him back and I almost cried because I was just so happy

Green cheek conure loving romaine lettuce!!! Romaine lettuce is actually very nutritious with vitamin A and other good stuff ! My fellow members always know I'm big in promoting leafy greens !! But I'm hoping to inspire all our many visitors !! While spinach should be offered more sparingly, because it's high in oxalate . Romaine lettuce can be offered every day !! And I do , and my flock loves it !

But i would say my new one , Holidaze, it's their favorite so far of all I offered!!! They finished all I offered earlier , so I just gave more !
