I recently bought a one-pound bag of TOPS all-in-one seed mix that I plan to soak for Java to see if he likes it. I've been thinking about investing in some sprout mixes for him since he'll eat anything I put in front of him. I believe he would benefit greatly from sprouts added to his food. My question is: what brands would you recommend? And is it difficult to sprout for only one bird?

I use Sprout People mixes and have been pretty happy with the results. I bought their EasySprouter and sprout about a cup's worth of seed at a time, which I put in the freezer and only thaw out what I will use in the next few days. It's simple and easy, in my experience.

Can sprouts be offered daily with chop and/or pellets? Or would it be best to offer it a few times a week?

I'd say offer them whenever you're offering fresh foods, which can be done daily. I just would make them one of the smaller portions of fresh foods you're offering, if you are offering them daily, so maybe 20-25%? I typically offer one heaping tablespoon of sprouts to every 3 heaping tablespoons of chop.

I offer sprouts daily. Jingo and the rats love the Amber Waves of Grain mix at Sprout People.

No but now you have your chance to eat sprouts yourself. :)
I buy both sprouts for birds, but most seeds, peas, mung beans and lentils for humans. (Organic)
And I sprout every day and only eat fresh 24 hrs sprout. I don't want any bacteria in our food.
I rinse and pasteurizing most of the "things" before I sprout.

What's your method? I've looked online for soaking and sprouting methods but it became overwhelming and confusing.

Oh... that's a lot easier than the methods I was reading. I overthink everything. Thank you

Yes! The water will get warm in room temp and that can grow bacteria. So rinse in cold water 4 times/day.

No.
Ok, I'm on it. Thank you

Good luck! :)
And eat them yourself too. They taste good and are really healthy.
I mostly put mine in cold salads and add them in my woks. (I just add them after my wok is done so they gets warm)
