BTW did you know that Florida is the only place in the world that has both Alligators and Crocodiles living side by side! Anyone want to go for a swim?

Beautiful little bird. This one flew in through my brother's back door and was sitting in the window as I walked by, so went inside to give a helping hand.

When I lived in Florida I had an apartment that backed up onto a little pond. Much like your picture below, without the steps. One day I saw a little kitten out my back door sitting at the edge of the pond and a friendly baby gator was right behind it in the water. I got a cat that day!

If you do decide to swim in Florida better watch that last step!

I have a lot of creatures to post here. But I'll start with just one. Since about March a Mama Bear and her three cubs have been coming to our yard about every 3rd or 4th day. This was taken from a video I took through a window (I'm no fool) so the quality isn't the best. But, not to worry... I'll be posting better ones and some videos (just don't ask me when).

When I lived in Florida I used to fish the pond behind the local Winn Dixie. I became much more watchful when I spotted a cottonmouth swimming towards me.

I was used to fishing in England where the worst I had to deal with was overly curious herds of cows.

I'm not long home from Scotland and we had to cross through some escapee cows between the river and their field... They're beautiful but intimidating!

Only saw a few Highland cows on the road on the way home so no pics. The ones on the path were brown. Funny I don't think I took many pics of wildlife... Except the ducks
Most of my snaps from up there were mountains and woods, I'll take a look...
