We've all been there...

First thing in the morning and I'm still half asleep, stagger to the kitchen, get a cup of coffee brewing and get the birdies breakfast ready. I then manege to find the birdroon while not spilling anything. Opening cages and put the goodies in for them as they pop out. Here where it gets sweet Cheddar ends up on my shoulder making those real quiet GCC noises. Riti comes over to see whats up, she wants to get in the desk drawer looking for a nesting spot and I don't want that, and lands on my little finger and sit there for the longest time...for a Kakariki anyway, about a minute.

Good start to the day I think.

So different than my morning experience. For the last 3 days Gigi has been so cage territorial that as I put her food/water/chop in from the outside doors, she screams and races toward me at each entrance. After I'm done she's all wolf whistles and kisses. Crazy little thing.
