Grayson started talking about 5-6 months old. I use bird phonics CD. They hear phrases and learn them.
The things grey grey says now...he changed his name from Grayson to grey grey... And we went with it....here's some he says...
Whatcha doing boo boo
Are you washy washy boo boo ( seeing me wash dishes)
Come on maggie..yum yum. ( calling dog for dinner)
What's that?
Grey grey a good boy
Awww love you
Momma outside
Yoo hoo maggie...potty ( calling dog for a potty)
Hi boo boo
MICHAEL!!! ( calling for me...calls me boo boo too.lol)
Grey grey go Poop. ( yep..ya sure did)
Noooooooo!
Awww ball. ( after he drops it by accident...and insists I pick it up)
I like it
Grayson also understands questions and commands.
For instance if I want to know where he's at in house I ask
" grey grey where are you?? " he answers back with whoo hoo!! If I ask if he likes it or wants to do something he bobs his head up and down saying yes.... If doesn't want to do it he will say " noooooo" very firmly. And ...lol...he knows the difference!
There s a few more words he says, just trying to remember them all. He'll spit out a whole paragraph or two non stop. In one go.
I'm going to have to set camera up and record it all sometime...quite hilarious.
Point is, with practice, your birds will talk people. Just talk with them. Have a sit down and chat session....
