It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that Tinker passed away a week ago. I almost didn't come back to let anyone know and thought I would just vanish. But he had his followers and I decided to do this but I am so upset it is hard to do.
His last day with me was terrific out in the sun on a cloudy but sunny day and he chatted away like a crazy old fool. supper time came and we moved inside.
Shortly after we settled down to watch the six o'clock news as always and he wanted a walnut on my knee.
He fell into my lap in convulsions and as I held him he passed away.
I am heart broken! I am beside myself with grief as I had put so much into this little guy and he did the same with me.
We had our moments but he still called for me every morning by name and I went to him and let him climb out to me.

I'm having tears right now so will end this. But for those who ask yes he was sent to the vet and they found a lump on his brain. I didn't go any further as it wouldn't have been a help at all.

I miss him so much and find it very hard to view other greys at the moment so please excuse me if I am not around for a bit.

Oh Dave, I have no words. I am shocked as you must be. I have followed "Well Tinker is Home" I was curious as to what a Tinker was. Your stories always made me smile. Your support has been tremendous for me. I'm so very sorry.

This is about the saddest news I could have heard. I followed you and Tinker because I felt that the two of you were special in your relationship. I'm so very sorry that Tinker died.
