I am seriously on cloud 9! My absolute dream cockatoo. She is all tuckered out after she was groomed earlier.
The rest of the flock is great
We are doing some work on the room, but overall, everyone is good. I need to pick up more meds for Cosmo in a few days, but he has been doing great. I am also missing an introduction post for Petey... Which I hope to get around to soon. Senior maximilian pionus who joined the flock in early February
Pepper was having some issues with egglaying, but she is back to normal and in the cage with her boyfriend (Charlie). Melvin loves Petey and Petey feels.. happily neutral. Popcorn just turned one year old and Kuzco laid an egg last month that confirmed her as a girl

It is hard to set her down! Not only because she is happy to just sit with me, but because I just want to pick her up again. I am going to let her stay in the cage for a few more minutes before I say goodnight to her (setting up a strict bedtime!)

She saw a little sun conure at the store today when she was groomed and was sooo excited. I am looking forward to introducing her after she finishes quarantine!

She is just doing so well. Last night, she was hesitant getting out of the carrier, but she just wanted pets. Today after she was groomed, she stepped right up for me from her carrier and gave me kisses before going back to her cage. She is playing with her toys already too!
What a lucky birdy! I just saw the other thread. Wonderful that it worked out for this sweetheart to go to a home and not to a breeder.
Oh she's definitely a "people bird." Just too sweet.
Her feather quality is definitely rough, and she is a bit sticky? Not sure why. Going to work on that with lots of baths, love, and good food!
