Weaning transition of my little caique

Hello dear bird lovers,

My little caique, Haru is almost 5 months old now, and we are having trouble transitioning to complete weaning. After I consulted our vet we stopped feeding him formula, he said it can be bad for his digestion system in the long run. I started giving him powder (i grind them as much as possible) pellets mixed with water and offer him variety of veggies and fruits in which he seems pretty interested in and eating, but he constantly squawk and want more food sometimes even right after i feed him. I keep him around me and play with him almost all the time so i don't think his squawking is about lack of attention. How should I act? I really appreciate your help <3

Slowly stop giving him formula some birds dont ween in the same age other birds do my macaw starting weening about a year old so it varies I recommend sticking to the formula slowly stop feeding him and offer him veggies and pellets you can soak the pellets if you want to it helps alot

After you have fed him formula, or your pellet formula, offer a plate of adult foods for him to try. It is the best time for them to eat new things.

Oh yes one day he will March round the house stealing food off everyones plates
