After a rollercoaster of moving and reorganizing we are finally settled in the new home. We also had the tragic and devastating loss of Luna, which was sudden and fully unexpected.

We have found a person who is rehoming all of their poultry and we are adopting two hens. I haven't met them yet, but we are probably going to this afternoon.

Starlight will get two new silkie friends. The nights are getting colder and we don't want to wait to rebuild our small flock. We are adopting slightly older hens, but that is fine by me!

Once I know more I will update, plus share photos. I have been very bad about that as of late, and I am sure everyone wants to see the new chicken/duck yard.

Starlight is shy of them. She has been creeping on them from the bushes, but still hasn't come to greet them. This is part of why she isn't in any photos.. she went to hide in her house. I am sure soon enough she will be pleased to have fluffy friends.
