Someone got to meet a new friend.



Vinyet did very well. She didn't seem to like Zac's (the boy) hat, but overcame it very quickly. She seems to be getting better at meeting new people and seeing new things. She did a lot of stepping up and cuddling.
It was nice to finally get some photos of her with a person.

She likes to shake hands so when a finger is put out she likes to hold the one finger and shake.

She seems small and large to me at the same time, since her body is kind of small but her wings are so huge. She's just a very tall/lanky species. Longest legs and neck of any parrot.

Watched the video again. She wasn't attacking She really seems to go to the shoulder for safety/protection/comfort. It is her safe place.

Your pictures really capture how long she is when she stretches out and a little of her squating to make herself look small.
