Both my budgies vents are stained yellowish/greenish. I'm thinking maybe they are dehydrated or is it something more serious?

Could be diarrhea which means they’re sick they need to go to a vet ASAP

Do you have a photo of their poops you can share? A photo of the vents? Do they bathe? Even a normal poop will stain any feathers it touches.

Meanwhile you can move them to an hospital cage and take them to a vet..also you can ask the store you got them from since you got them yesterday it means they were already sick before you got them so store should cover it.

@Ripshod it is not normal that poop stains the feathers around the vent. Even Baylee who is right now going through a bacterial infection in her crop doesn’t stain her vent feathers at all. Not even when she isn’t sick.

Budgie poop by it's very nature will stick a little to everything it touches.

Do you have any photos of their poops? I asked earlier but seems that was missed

Sorry this camera is awful.. I looked up budgie poop chart and I think they are settling in or dehydrated. Also I read an old post about poop stuck to a budgies butt and something about low humidity had a factor to play.
