Vegetable oil

Hello, I was wondering if anyone would know if it is safe to give my bird dates. i looked in the ingredients section and found that it has vegetable oil in the dates. I have not yet fed him any but would like to know if it is safe for him to eat them.

Yes Dates are safe and in small quantities vegetable oil is okay.
