Yes, my Red Lored is quite the late bloomer. Two more feathers coming in yellow, and one on the other side.

And of course, Kazoo is always around too.

Yes, but area of coverage varies from individual to individual and subspecies to subspecies.

The yellow that is coming in started late spring this past year. The yellow feathers are starting in the red infront of his eye and the feathers are below his eye. You can see them, they are like yellow spots.

I wonder what kind of RLA he is then. I thought he was salvins? Or do Salvin RLA stil lget a couple yellow feathers? I know most RLA babies (well all of them that I know)get their yellow feathers immediatly.
