Mommy made a special breakfast with scrambled eggs, sprinkled with cayenne pepper and TOPS crumbles. He maintained his weight from yesterday so very happy about that.

Pat, I regularly give Squeeky ACV in his water. It has helped to keep all that type of stuff away from Squeeky. You should look into. Prayers and good thoughts that your baby gets better

Good news! The vet called with Tequila's blood test results. She said they looked better than any of his other tests! She said calcium and cholesterol are back to normal which leads me to believe that Tequila is a she.
She did say though that is protein is still low so she asked me if I fed him beans or eggs. I do feed eggs but I think I need to start doing it a little more often. So she said to finish him on the baytril and she should be good as new.
The other thing I thought of was Tequila is the only one with a water bottle..I soak it every night with soap and GSE but she suggested putting it in the dishwasher. She also recommends doing the ACV in water weekly as a preventitive. He is not crazy about the taste so I will have to trick him to drink it but I mixed some up and went to each of the birds with it. Carlos drank it like Kool Aid!
Probably because I was feeding him from a teaspoon and Mango took a taste and if she could have said BLECH! she would have, she didnt like it either. So I think he is well on his way to being better. He is eating good, taking his meds good and last night was back to getting into trouble. Thanks again for the support, it means so much when you are going through something like this with your birds.

Me too Mercedez! Last night I could have brained him, he keep trying to get into Carlos' cage and flying on top of it but was glad at the same time.

Good to hear! I just picked up some unfiltered, unpasteurized organic AVC the other night. I hear others talk about it and some say no that is messes with their intestinal flora I tend to disagree. I also use this in my CATS drinking water to rid off any possible bacteria adhering to their bladder wall causing UTI's. It is not something daily just once a week.
