My other thread explains everything, Kenny (my 1-year-old cockatiel I got from Petco about a week ago) I finally got his bigger cage and new foraging toys! He hasn't explored his new toys yet but to be fair he is still getting used to his bigger cage. In my last post I mentioned that he wasn't really drinking water, but today I actually saw him go to his water bowl and drink! I tried offering him some fruits/veggies, but he hasn't eaten them, I also haven't forced him to get out of his cage and I've been talking/whistling to him. Although he still won't eat the millet between the bars of his cage if I'm holding it. I hope I didn't completely lose his trust, even though I know this process takes a lot of patience. I also wanted to thank everyone who gave me helpful tips on my last thread, I really appreciate it! <3 p.s. I will be posting pics of Kenny soon!

My tiels aren’t very much into veggies. They nibble on broccoli and green peas and dried hot peppers but that’s pretty much it.

Had them for over 12 years and their diet consists of: Zupreem / Verselle-Laga seeds / Roudybush / LaFeber / Top’s / millet (a favorite) / hemp seeds and that’s pretty much it. They are junkers as in the love sunflower seeds.

Oh, and I tried every single Harrison and they never touched them. Ended up giving it to the crows outside and even they wouldn’t touch it.
