I'm going to try and attach a video of the hormonal behavior. I have seen hormonal behavior plenty of times before but this is different to me. This bird was hormonal like this within 24 hours of being home with me. She also has what seems like separation anxiety as well. I can totally see how the recent rehoming would cause the anxiety but the hormones are throwing me off. Does it seem normal for a bird to become so attached to someone totally new almost immediately? Granted this is only my second adopted bird. My first was a TAG and she was as chill as it gets.

I'm having a hard time adding the video, the file is mostly too large. She's pacing the perch a little, droopy wings, regurgitating, panting and whimpering. She looks stressed, I feel bad! If I pay attention to her, it makes it worse. The best thing I can do is ignore her but remain within eye sight.

She has gone through a LOT of toys, like 1 a day. Nearly all wood, mostly pine and even some hard wood. I wonder if it's driven by frustration?
