Well the Nandays have fallen into a pattern here. First thing in the morning and they take off looking for food. About 5:30-6:00 they show back up and as soon as it starts to get dark in the hole they go.

The male Kestrel is still all alone and today as he was perching on the wire I heard him calling. For Little Miss? I hope she OK and just running late. I know some bird species the males show up before the female but I don't if it's that way with Kestrels or not.

From what little I have learned about Kestrels, the male seems to pick a spot hoping to impress the female. They do this amazing bobbing dance!
