I've had my cockatiel, Alastor, for just about 2 months now. He isn't tame yet and hates my hand. He got out of his cage and I have no idea how to get him back in. Most people and websites have told me that he'll go back in on his own so I've tried to leave him alone, supervised of course. What I'm worried about is that he flew behind the blinds of my window and wont come out. He's found his reflection and in now glued to it. I don't want to chase him and undo the very little progress I've made with him. I've also tried using his food to lure him out and millet but he wont go for it. Help?

How much time do you have before he needs to go to bed? If it is not long you can towel him calmly and put him away.

If you do have to towel him to return him to the cage, be sure to give him a treat once he´s in there :)
