House Finch or Sparrow? We raised a female house finch and she imprinted on us and was a happy girl who played with her toys and sang the songs of her people.

It's actually a canary. It's mother's is quite dark but I do see it's chest is yellowish. When it moults out in three months time it will improve a lot.

No not hand feeding. Parents have been great with it.
