Bought a 4oz envelope on a whim. Just opened it today, and I put a pinch in each cage. Nobody touched it. Curious to see others’ experience with this product? I primarily purchased as a safe forage that they could eat and chew on.

My Quaker and green cheek loved that stuff. I don't know if it did anything that it claims to do but they enjoyed it!

Ripley doesn't even acknowledge it is for him lol

How did you prepare or serve it? Just plain in a dish?

Just something us posh Yankees like to give the birds
Ah ok. I’ve seen similar stuff here at one or two places but it was sold more for foraging matter from what I remember.

I think it’s a good product, and I used to give it to my tiels. I would put it in a separate bowl, and they would eat a bit once in a while.

When I used to use that I would sprinkle a little bit on top of the birds' seed mix.

I've used it off and on for years. I mix it with the morning dry mix. I'm not sure how much they eat, and I'm with @Mizzely about the reputed benefits...who knows? I just like to offer as much variety as I can.

You can offer it separately, on the side, or sprinkle it on top of fresh food or chop. I personally make up little treat cups that I feed as an afternoon snack. It's a mix of the herb salad, dried veggies and fruits, shredded coconut, oven fresh bites and a few seeds.

I use it off and on. I usually put it in a small dish and put some seeds or a nutriberry with it. It becomes a bit of a foraging thing. It also smells nice. The first time I used it, my tiel Sunny was going through a crazy hormonal period. For 3-4 days, he dug through the mix and ate parts of it. Within 2-3 days, he completely calmed down and returned to being his normal safe. Coincidence? It may be. I don't really know. After that, he seemed to lose interest in it. I still offered it but he didn't forage through it like he did for those few days. I actually just bought some more to give to my current tiels.
