My red-ear slider is a capable escape artist.I just found him under (yes under ) Mango's cage after my cage cleaning session today and his week long search finally ended.(he runs)I now regret putting so much driftwood ( some that floats ) in his 10 gallon community tank along with some sparkling gorami(all female so thankfully no croaks),guppies,wild shrimp and nerites.He also devoured much of the duckweed that thrived after his runaway since he ain't eating them anymore.
My hornwort,foxtail,freshwater seaweed and guppy grass' set up was destroyed,again.(he is a fond digger).I shall close the lid tighter,though it won't help as fliters and air pumps are a thing and needs a hole in the tank lid...I guess I'll decrease the water level by a few centimeters if I have to.
