Has Hagen changed the packaging for the Tropican smaller pellets? Used to be just a Tiel on the front and the pic of the pellets looks a little different... Haven't opened then because I'm still using up the Psittacus ones.

Bought them from a site I've never used before.

I googled their website- they still have the picture of the cockatiel... not the mixed bird variety.

I wish I could help. The only tropican I have is the large parrot sticks, high performance (given as treats).

I think they have changed the design. I get the 4mm lifetime pellets for mine and the image has changed on the packaging too. I don't see any change in ingredients, but I have been taking them for granted for quite a while now.

I´m pretty sure I got the 4mm before... This bag says 2... they´re gonna be tiny weeny.

I´m looking at the image on the site I ordered from and the pic is the Tiel 1.8kilo bag. Can´t see size on the bag anywhere...

No I must just be confused. There´s only two sizes avail, 2mm or 4mm - and the 4mm has the ´Zon on the bag. So must have been the 2mm ones I had before... seemed bigger than 2mm but ok

I did this with the first bag of pellets I bought so I now cut the front of the bag off and store it among Burt’s piles of stuff till I need to purchase next. It has saved me the stress of trying to work out if I got the wrong size etc. Works great for my piece of mind. I buy four or five different pellets so I can never remember.

4mm comes in two package types... 4lb bag has a zon and the 1.8lb has a blue crowned conure

My 4lb bag has a conure, an amazon, a grey and a Caique. I'm beginning to think there may be differences depending where you are in the world.

This bag of food is for larger species. There are only two sizes, small and large. This bag used to just be a Zon.... so looks like the packaging has been updated to add some friends.
Remember a while back I told you that they tried to tell me lovebirds couldn´t eat the small sized food because there was only a picture of the Tiel on the bag.

Yea I think so too then. In EU the bags were Tiel (2mm) or Zon(4mm).
Although in saying that... I never saw the smaller bag of the lrger size pellet so maybe it was a conure...

Edit: Correct, the smaller sized bag for the larger pellet has a conure. The small sized pellets had Tiels on the bag for both sized bags. But looks like that is canging to the group pic.
