Neptune flew to Picard's cage and they fought with a fury not yet realised.

Neptune is resting and may need vet care, not sure as of yet. He is alert though clearly in pain. His toe was seriously injured.

The point of this post was to show how parrotlets, even those raised together do not always make life long friends. I love both my parrotlets dearly, but they do make things complicated.

Poor little Picard too. It is 10000% not his fault. They simple can't help it. They have their territory and they don't want to share, except for Pi. Pi is welcomed everywhere. He is a chill guy.

Aw, poor Neptune! Piper recently lost part of a nail in a kerfuffle with Cake and I had to make some changes to their out-of-cage schedule. It's a bummer when the kids can't get along.

This morning he is bright and begging. The swelling is gone! He does still have a booboo. Though my stress is in a much better place. He is going to be ok.

It is healing very well. Thank goodness! His toe almost looks normal today. Though still a tiny bit of scabbing. He is also his chirpy blueberry self.
