Awesome job!
The seagrass is a bit tough on soft hands but much more forgiving than sisal rope lol.

Thanks everyone!!! I made a few other, smaller preeny/foragey type toys but this one felt like.. a feat!! Lol I ordered a bunch of "toy ingredients" online including 100ft of sisal rope (which, I can imagine is also quite finger bleedy!!) But I don't want to "waste" them! My husband is making a floating shelf type perch that we will be building on - I wanted a playstand, however one of my children is kind of....a tsunami. So we figured that something that is anchored to the walls, that keeps the birds far from reach would be a safer option. I made a "cage bubble" with painters tape on the floor as a visual to keep him out and so far its excellent at doing its job and helping to encourage "boundary" learning, along with social stories I made about how birds are not for petting, and "gentle hands"(you know youre a behavior specialist WHEN) one day we will have a playstand etc - but NOT today. Lol

Is there a way to get something similar without making a hole in the floor?
