Hey everyone,
I am in the U.S. and am looking at possibly moving to Canada (most likely Ontario) while I work towards a Master's degree. I am a dual citizen, if that changes anything.
I will be driving from the U.S. through Buffalo, NY to Ontario. I will be bringing my two budgies (Atticus and Aurelius) and cockatiel (Pepper).
I was wondering if anyone here has experience with traveling with birds to and from Canada. I looked up some of the requirements but it is not clear to me.
Do I need to fill out any forms? Letters from the vet? Certificate of clean health? The Canadian travel website I was looking at said the bird can't have been in contact with any other birds in the last 90 days. Understandable, but what about each other? Of course they'll have been in contact with each other. Is it any different bringing in one vs. three? I am worried about driving 14+ hours just to be turned around if I do things improperly. It's a bit early but I still want to know what the process looks like.
Thanks so much!
