I know of a couple airlines that allow birds to fly in cabin as pets for a $100-200 fee each way, but has anyone here flown with an airline that accepts birds as ESA?

Although my U2 Consuela wasn't an ESA, I have flown with her many times inter island in hawaii. I carried her on in the carrier. The first time I did this the attendant made me put her in the extra luggage cabinet. I was worried so I got a seat about a foot from the closet so I could talk to her. It was only a 30 minute flight so I was alright with that...but Consuela wasn't! She started screaming Let Me Out over and over almost immediately after take off. Everyone was looking around and laughing! The attendants finally let me hold her carrier in my lap and Consuela was happy again. I always took Consuela with me if I was going off island because she would scream for me so loud the neighbors would complain! After that first flight I would always tell the attendants about her screaming to get out of the cabinet and nearly all of them would say Oh Yeah, I Heard About Her!!! Lol!!!!
