Hi everyone! Looking to buy some safe interactive toys for my cockatiel! He tends to destroy his toys really fast :,) but that’s alright. If anyone can provide me links of their favorite safe toys it would be greatly appreciated c: or maybe even how to make my own? :)

Mt tiels love stuff they can chew. I buy toy parts from one of our vendors here - Ann at California Bird Nerds. They love balsa and mahogany pods and slices. Also, fingertraps, palm items. They also like to chew on leather strips.

I really like makeyourownbirdtoys.com and bird kabobs! Bird kabobs are just the best, oooh, and raffia tassels! And one of my birds like hitting his beak with vineballs. Recently I've seen him chew on his finger traps, and my other bird really likes her hay toy 16306430938142624359642716414136.jpg

A Bongo Box from LMBT could be a great option for you, a customizable box of safe handmade toys;

maybe even how to make my own? :)
Take a look here for inspiration and ideas ;) ;

CA Bird Nerds has a large selection of toy parts.

My tiel tears her toys up quickly too, and I used to buy premade toys for all of my birds, but then I started making my own, and it has been so much more cost efficient. I buy all of my toy making supplies from California Bird Nerds. So if you aren't opposed to making your own toys, it might be more cost efficient in the long run, especially since your tiel is so quick at tearing them up! My tiel loves materials like sola, balsa, cork, raffia fans, seagrass, crinkle paper, wicker/vine munch balls, and mahogany pods.
